- Open Photoshop. Select "File" and click "New." In the dialog box that appears, make the document size what you want for your banner. There are several standard sizes, but the most commonly used are 468x60. Name the file "banner 1" or whatever you like and click "OK."
- Select the tool "Paint Bucket" and use to fill the background with your color choices.
- Select "File" and click "Open." In the dialog box that appears, browse to a picture and open it. Right-click on the layer and select "Duplicate." In the dialog that appears, select the document "banner 1" as the goal. Repeat this step to bring all the images you want in the banner.
- Select the tool "Text" from the toolbar. Select the font style, size and color and type the text you want to use.
- Select "Windows" from the menu and click on "Animation." timeline will appear at the bottom with a single frame. Click on the icon "Duplicate" at the bottom of the timeline to create two frames.
- Select the first frame. Select the layer containing the things you want to animate text-or image-and use the "Move" to the place where you want in the beginning of the animation. Now select the second frame and move the object where you want at the end of the animation.
- Click on the icon "tweening" under the timeline and select the number of frames you want to add between two frames that you have.
- Select "File" and click "Save for Web or Devices." In the dialog that appears, create a GIF file types and set the "Duration" for the frame. Click "Save," you name the file and click "Save" again.
